As of October 1st 2020, WeylChem has reactivated existing production assets in Germany and significantly expanded its Peractive® TAED bleach activator capacity. WeylChem reacts to the increased demand for this ingredient due to the ongoing global pandemic. Peractive® TAED provides hygiene and disinfecting performance in laundry and dishwash detergents. A further important field of application is in hospitals for cleaning and disinfection of medical devices.
WeylChem supports the global efforts to contain the Coronavirus by providing hygiene benefits in consumer products used every day. The optimized production plant increases the availability and security of supply for TAED. With the improved set-up, consumer goods companies can respond to market needs quickly in these very special times.
